The Hunger Games - A day in District 12

My name is Kale Singletree, I am 14 years old and I live in district 12 with my mom and my older brother. I have to wake up early in the morning to start working in the coal mines. The mine has been running for the last seven years, and I have been working there for the last four. I haven't earned anything from working there but I can't stop because then I am taken to captivity by the guards from capitol. We want freedom but the Capitol is refusing us. They are sending us to compete in The Hunger Games.  

One night I dreamed about that I was picked to compete in The Hunger Games and I was terrified. I know that it's almost no chance for me to win The Hunger Games. Last year Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won it together but they are well trained.  

Today is the day the tributes are picked. I hope I don't get picked but it is a chance. 

It's time for the reaping, from district 12, the girl is Rosette LowRock and the boy is Kale Peacesong. I got shocked, I thought it was me for a second. I thought the dream was true. But then I realized that It is my best friend. We went back to the district and continued the day as normal with the mining and so on. 

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a game where you can play in a war. You can play with other players or do missions alone. When you play solo missions, it is like being in a real war. But if you play multiplayer is it more like you are running around and just killing each other.

 

Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)

CS:GO is a team game where you play against other players around the world. You can play in a 5 man team with your friends or you can play solo with other random players. That mode is called Competitive, and can take up to 90 minutes to finish. You can also play other game modes, like Deathmatch, Arms Race, Casual and Demolition.

 

H1Z1: King of The Kill

H1Z1 is a survival game where you spawn a random place on a map with a parachute. You need to find a place to land and loot the house(s) where you land. Guns, armor, helmets and other stuff can be found in the houses.

I'll give it four out of six stars.

    

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG)

PUBG is a new game who was inpired of two games, called H1Z1: King of The Kill and ARMA. PUBG is a game where you need to play defensive and not rush too much.

The game is available on steam, and costs 259NOK or 30.74USD

1. Where do you come from?  

• We both come from Syria. 

2. Why did you escape from Syria?

• Khaldoun: Mainly because of the war and that I don’t want to be in the army. 

4. Why did you come to Norway? 

• Mohammed: Because Norway is a democratic country, and because of the nice people, the rights we get here, the freedom and the peace. 
• Khaldoun: I came here because two of my best friends are married to two Norwegian women. 

5. How did you came to Norway? 

• Mohammed: Syria-Lebanon-Turkey-boat to Greece-Macedonia-Slovenia-Austria-Germany-Denmark-Sweden-Norway-Batnfjordsøra 
• Khaldoun: Syria-Serbia-Hungary-Germany-Denmark-Sweden-Norway-Batnfjordsøra 

6. Do you have family and friends in your home country? Do you miss them? 

• Khaldoun: Yes I have my mom and my dad there. And of course I miss them. 

7. Do you want to return to your home country some time? 

• Not before the war has ended. 

8. What is your dream in the future? 

• Complete Norwegian school, study at a university, get a job and be economically independent. 

9. What do you think about Norwegians? 

• I have met two kinds of Norwegians, one of them is open and wants to start a conversation, and the other one is more afraid of you because you come from another country and a country with a war. 

10. Is there anything you could do in Syria that you can't do in Norway? 

• Khaldoun: No, not really. Just that you can't get a tan in the winter. 
• Khaldoun: My hobby is to play electric-guitar. 
• Mohammed: I like to do taekwondo. 

11. Can you tell us anything about your country? 

• It is a nice country, the village that I come form is known for its fruits, especially apples.

Hobby

I am now playing a new game, The Crew. It is a car game where you race, play with others or just drive around in the USA. You drive in a sport car, and you can choose which one you want to drive. My self I drive in a Ford Mustang street tuned. I have been playing it for a while, but I've seen that it is quite hard to level up in the game. My self I have ranked up to lv 17, but i needed to play it for more than 16 hours.
